Musical biography
Emanuele Borgonovo completed his musical studies in Piano, Organ and Composition under the guidance of Maestro Luigi Molfino. He carries out research on applications of mathematics in music, with particular attention to the definition of sequences of periodic modulations within the theory of counterpoint. He has been regular organist at Basilica of S. Giuseppe in Seregno and at the Church of S. Margherita in Giussano. He has to his credit several organ compositions published by Edizioni Carrara: in the magazine "Organo nella Liturgia," in "L'Organo per Natale" and in "Armonie Nuziali" and choral pieces in "Armonia di Voci", Edizioni Elledici. He taught piano at the Accademia Musicale Amadeus in Meda. After moving to the USA, he played as a pianist with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT Symphony Orchestra under the direction of M° Dante Anzolini at the Kresge Auditorium in Boston. His compositions have been premiered in Italy and abroad.
